Summary:

Teyata is an interactive video game that immerses players in the rich cultural heritage of the Huron-Wendat Nation. Developed as part of the Longhouse Project at Toronto Metropolitan University, the game utilizes narrative design and decision-driven gameplay to educate players about the historical and cultural significance of the Huron-Wendat people.

Using Unreal Engine 5, the game features advanced graphical capabilities and robust support for intricate game mechanics. This includes dynamic character control, an inventory system, and comprehensive animal AI, enriching the gaming experience with realistic interactions and challenges. The project aims not only to entertain but also to foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of Indigenous cultures.

My Contributions to the Project:
